Health Innovation Journal (HIJ) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access publication committed to driving transformation in healthcare delivery through the dissemination of novel medical technologies, clinical paradigms, and health systems innovations. Publication Frequency

Health Innovation Journal (HIJ) is published triannually (3 issues per year: April, August, and December), utilizing an online-first publication model to support rapid dissemination of health technology advancements.

Peer Review Process

HIJ maintains a strict double-anonymous peer review protocol to uphold scientific integrity and methodological accuracy. Initial desk review by the Editorial Board assesses topical fit, ethical compliance, and structural adherence to international reporting standards. Manuscripts passing desk review are forwarded to at least two external international reviewers with specialized expertise in medical engineering, digital health, or clinical innovation. Evaluation criteria emphasize technical novelty, clinical translation potential, rigorous validation methodology, and ethical sound design.
